Legal Assistance / Locating a Probate Practitioner
If you have found yourself in the position of executor and are confused about what to do next, or you’re a relative / beneficiary and you have concerns regarding an estate, we can be of assistance by helping you find relevant legal advice. Whether it’s to find a Probate practitioner to discuss your position or you have a dispute, we will be able to find you the right people to talk to.
You may have an estate where relatives are at loggerheads or where a charity is a beneficiary, each estate is different and finding the right assistance is essential. We will happily discuss your needs and help you source a Probate practitioner who can assist.
Property and Assets
Whether the estate includes a house, motor vehicle, river boat or collection of stamps that require valuing/selling we can be of assistance.
Where a property is involved, we can assist with market appraisal’s, RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) Valuations, insurance and arranging estate agents along with sales progression assistance.
Where a property is to stand empty, we can arrange for it to comply with home insurance requirements, including draining down and lock changes. We also hold keys and can arrange for periodic inspections to be carried out.
Where properties are not ready to go to market, we can assist with solutions from clearances and cleans, garden tidies and roof repairs, right through to full refurbishments.
With large assets such as motor vehicles, caravans and river boats, we can arrange for full inspection and valuation. We will then provide a full written valuation, which also includes sales option, where we will sell the asset on behalf of the estate and a purchase option, where we will purchase the asset from the estate.
With furniture, personal belongings, antiques and collections such as coins or stamps we can arrange for a Chattels Valuation to be carried out. A fully written valuation complete with photos will be provided. We will also include options regarding placing items to auction, and includes expected returns. If you decide to place anything to auction, we can happily arrange this all for you.
If there is an item that you need delivering or placing into storage we can assist, we offer nationwide storage solutions from one box to a whole house even cars and caravans.

We can provide fully-illustrated valuations of singular chattels through to full contents valuations. We can also arrange the sale of chattels either through private sale or auction.

Where a RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) valuation is required for IHT (Inheritance Tax) we can happily arrange this for you. We also offer sales assistance for all properties.

We offer both desktop and physical inspection valuations for all motor vehicles, boats and caravans. A written valuation is provided. We also carry out collection, delivery, storage and sale of vehicles via auction and private sale.

We can provide clearances and cleans of any size property, we will wherever possible recycle/re-use any items. Where there are items of value within a property, these can be off-set against the cost of the clearance.
Property maintenance is an essential part of the full probate handling service and can be provided by Rubix to ensure the upkeep of the building, electrics, and all plumbing & drainage. Our maintenance solutions are considered to be amongst the best in the market.

The grounds of a property can make or break a sale, keeping them in good order will also help reduce the chances of a break-in. We offer one-off gardening services right through to seasonal upkeep.
Making sure the property is fully secure is a must. We offer full locksmith services, boarding up/glazing services through to weekly inspections and alarm/CCTV servicing and installs.

If the worst happens and the property becomes damaged, we can deal with the full process from meeting the loss adjuster, submitting a schedule of works, right through to the completion of the repairs.
